Sheila Wenger is certified through the graduate program of the Parent Coaching Institute at Seattle Pacific University, where she is also an adjunct professor. This, along with her Masters Degree in Education from Lewis and Clark College and undergraduate training from the University of Portland provides her with a wealth of research and knowledge necessary for assisting parents in understanding the developmental needs of their children.
With sixteen years experience working with children and parents, Sheila can quickly and effectively hone in on parents' strengths and illuminate their blind spots to reduce their worry, build stronger relationships, and create true peace of mind.
Since starting her coaching practice in 2009, Sheila has helped many families across the country align their lives with their deepest core values, implement effective discipline strategies, establish healthy sleep habits for infants, and stay informed on the many important issues confronting parents today. One of the greatest gifts she provides for her clients is time—by staying abreast of parenting literature and research studies, she can save them hours they would spend reading and researching. She knows firsthand how effectively the coaching relationship empowers parents to create phenomenal families.
Sheila lives in Vancouver, Washington with her husband and boy/girl twins. She enjoys running as well as taking bike rides, hiking, and playing games with her family. |
